The City of Jumilla and the Local Federation of Associations of Mothers and Parents of Jumilla Students (FAMPA) have signed a collaboration agreement in the presence of the Mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the president of the association, Roque González, and the Councilor for Education, Salvi Pérez.
Through it, the FAMPA will receive a grant of 15,000 euros nominally planned in the General Budget of 2017.
The amount will be allocated to the realization of participatory activities of parents of students, as well as the students and teachers related to the educational matter, thus promoting the integral participation of the educational community, involving parents, students and teachers in activities specific to the training of students.
In general, a day of coexistence of parents, students and teachers, hiking activities, training workshops for parents on topics related to the education of their children, activities aimed at parents and children on emotional intelligence and awareness about diversity, as well as storytelling or themed puppets for parents and children about diversity or bullying, among others.
As an option for the centers, depending on the activities they schedule or the needs of each of the AMPAS, they can carry out activities such as a sewing workshop for parents and children to make costumes to participate in carnivals, Easter and functions of the educational center, coexistence around the Day of Peace, coexistence of autumn where they celebrate the day of the chestnuts, activities of end of course and workshops of French and of algorithms based on the numbers for parents and children.
