The second edition of the Agricultural Fair of Jumilla, which ended yesterday, has increased the volume of business generated with respect to the edition of the past, year as they have said the participants themselves.
Both sales and the number of people who have visited it has been greater than in its first edition.
The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, has shown this morning his satisfaction "for the result obtained, since the objective of the event is met, which is to boost the base of our economy, which is agriculture."
Throughout the weekend a total of 35 companies have shown the public a lot of new features and offers in tractors, machinery, tools and services. They have been present almost all major brands of tractors, as well as manufacturers of implements and machinery or companies distributing products to the farmer.
The weather was good during the three days of the event, which has allowed all the scheduled activities to take place, as well as high attendance of the public, quite arrived from outside the town.
As an example, one of the winners of the Tractor and Trailer Skill Competition comes from Cuenca.
The maximum number of participants was completed, which makes the possibility of establishing two circuits possible for the future.
The mayor thanked her response to the companies in the participating sector, to the banking entities that have collaborated, as well as to the agrarian groups that have been involved.
