The Mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Social Policy and Equality, Salvi Pérez, presented this morning the activities that have been organized by the City on the occasion of the International Day against Gender Violence to be held on November 25 .
The theme chosen this year is' Cut in time.
There's a way out. '
The acts begin on Monday 20 with the establishment of a link against gender violence in educational centers and municipal buildings.
At 12 noon, the one on the balcony of the Town Hall will be placed with the presence of the authorities.
That same morning (11 h) a special program on the CAVI will be broadcast from the municipal station.
On Tuesday, from 9.30 am to 1 pm, an information table will be placed at the Mercado Central de Abastos.
That same day and Tuesday, November 28, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, a basic workshop on female self-defense will be held at the Carlos García Municipal Pavilion, under the charge of the local police corporal, Antonio Guardiola.

For Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Roque Baños Center, a conference of the deputy prosecutor of gender violence is planned at the Office of the Superior Prosecutor of Murcia, Concepción López.
On Thursday, double appointment at the Teatro Vico (10.00 and 12.30 hours) of the play 'The princesses do not want to eat partridges', destined to 2nd and 3rd of Primary.
On Friday the 24th, at 12:00 hours, minute of institutional silence at the door of the City Hall for the victims of gender violence.
On Saturday, November 25, at 8:00 pm, there will be a silent rally in the monolith against gender violence.
Then, in the Vico Theater will proceed to read the manifesto against gender violence and will represent the play 'Piedras frías', by Juan Carlos Torres, interpreted by the theater groups Inestables and Talía, for the benefit of the Program Oblates of Murcia.
Both the mayor and the councilor of the area have insisted on the importance of continuing to work on raising awareness to prevent the number of victims from increasing, "since this year is seven more women than on the same dates of 2016."
