The rural women's associations presented this morning the seven projects they have launched through grants for non-profit associations with social and social health purposes that have received from the City of Jumilla by competitive competition.
The press conference was attended by the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the Councilor for Equality, Salvi Pérez, and the technician of the area, Paqui Ruiz.
Antonia García, on behalf of the Association of Rural Women of La Alquería (subsidy of 1,776.50 euros) has presented the workshops 'Heritage Repair' and 'Creative Writing' with which they intend to restore the desks of the old school and enhance reading in the smallest respectively.
Paqui Jiménez and Juani López, from the Rural Women's Association Fuente del Pino (1,895.25 euros), have offered the details of the II Workshop of Chirigotas, whose objective is to once again have a presence in the Carnival in a different way than usual in area.
Rosario Pérez, representing the Rural Women's Association Cañada del Trigo (1,311 euros), has presented her crafts and self-esteem workshops, with which they will learn how to create Christmas decorations and techniques to improve their quality of life.
On behalf of the Water and Land Association (€ 1,524.75) Ana María Albert and Paqui Ruiz have been present with the 'Restaura Jumilla' project, with which they will return to the activity furniture, utensils and utensils for rural and agricultural use.
