The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the president of the AECC in Jumilla, María Josefa Calvo, accompanied by several council members and components of the association, have hung this morning on the balcony of the City Hall the pink ribbon that commemorates and starts the week of activities for the International Day against Breast Cancer organized by the Department of Public Health and the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
The facade of the consistory will also be illuminated throughout the week.
Tomorrow will be carried out the already traditional sale of sunglasses at a price of 5 euros to raise funds in the information stand to be placed in the Market of Abastos, Vico Theater and Health Center. For Wednesday is scheduled a talk on palliative care in charge of Dr. Adoración Lozano.
On Thursday a special program will be held live from Radio Jumilla, from 10 am to 11 am.
The events will end on Sunday at 10.30 with the March against Breast Cancer, which will consist of climbing the Castle from the Campos de Jumilla Cooperative, wearing a pink handkerchief or T-shirt.
