Last night was starting a new edition of the process of Participatory Budgets through a forum for evaluation of the 2017 process held at the Roque Baños Cultural Center.
He took note of the conclusions and assessments of the previous process, detailed information on the status of the proposals that came to be part of the 2017 amount, and all the general details of this new 2018 process.
The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, said: "The municipal budgets are the basic tool of work in a City Council, so it is important that citizenship is involved. Since the beginning of the legislature has been one of our objectives to give you participation to the citizens and this is one of the ways to achieve it ".
He also congratulated the motor group for the work done last year.
In this edition, the City Council will put the debate of the citizenship of Jumilla 150,000 euros of the General Budget of 2018. On the one hand, 132,000 euros in investment.
And on the other, as a novelty this year, 18,000 euros intended for a program of activities, aimed especially at youth, juvenile Jumilla, between 12 years and 17 years.
In addition, in this edition will be the own neighbors who self-elaborate the Basis of Operation of the Process, through participatory workshops to be held on Thursday, September 28, at 20:00 and Saturday, September 30 at 18:00 hours at the Roque Baños Sociocultural Center, which will also be able to participate all those who so wish, as well as to belong to the Motor Group of the new process.
These Operating Bases drafted by the citizens themselves and the timing of the phases of the process, will be presented on Tuesday, October 3, at 8:00 pm, also at the Roque Baños Center.
