The extraordinary procession "The Passion in Jumilla" and a Eucharist presided over by the Bishop of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca, have put the finishing touch between yesterday and today at the 30th National Encounter of Brotherhoods.

The procession took to the street 24 steps, with a total of 43 images realized between centuries XVI and XXI by 18 different sculptors.
For the first time in a procession the 20 brotherhoods and brotherhoods that compose the Jumillian Holy Week took place, with more than 1,000 Nazarenes, who processioned through the crowded streets of the old town and center of the city.

The highest local authority has shown his "gratitude to all the people, brotherhoods and entities that have collaborated with the Central Board and the City Council to make Jumilla show the best of himself."
The president of the CARM has stressed that: "Once again the Region of Murcia has proven to be a national reference, this time through through this Encounter of Cofradías held in Jumilla."
