Approved more than 52,000 euros in grants for associations for social purposes (18/09/2017)

The Board of Governors held this morning has approved 52,219.69 euros in grants for non-profit associations for social and socio-health purposes, once it has concluded the entire process under a competitive tender.

A total of 14 groups will be able to start up their work projects.

Line A was established for those associations whose purpose is to contribute to projects aimed at promoting and revitalizing the applicant association, with the associated beneficiaries being beneficiaries.

In this modality the associations of rural women will receive a little more than 7,000 euros to distribute between La Alquería (1,776.50) with the project 'Reparation of Heritage', Fuente del Pino (1,895.25) for the Second Workshop of Chirigotas, Cañada del Trigo (1,311) for its crafts and self-esteem workshops, Agua y Tierra with the project (1,524,75) 'Restaura Jumilla', and Las Encebras (528,25) for handicraft workshops.

Along the same lines, the Association of the 3rd Age of Fuente del Pino will have 412.99 euros for the organization of table games championships.

Line B, which has been awarded 44,770 euros, is for those proposals in which the association acts as an auxiliary and collaborator of the public administrations, whose purpose is to contribute in projects aimed at improving the quality of life of certain groups with socio-health problems.

The Association of Sick Families of Alzheimer's and other dementias (AFAD) has been granted 5,661.81 euros for the program 'Activa tu mente', AJITM will receive 5,667.64 euros for its psychosocial care program, while ARJU will receive it approve 5,614.50 euros to work the rehabilitation of addictions.

The project 'Give life to the years' of the Club of the 3rd Age of the 4th District will have 6,000 euros, the same amount as Jumillana Association of Fibromyalgia for its project 'Beginning to live'.

For its part, the Most Active Association has been granted 5,662 euros to work on prevention of filioparental violence and the Association Adahi 4,180 euros for its program with children and adolescents with TDA.
