The Mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, met in Murcia with the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, Javier Celdrán, in the presence of Councilor for Environment, Juan Gil, the general director of Environment, Juan Madrigal and the director general of Cultural Property, Juan Antonio Lorca.
This is the first contact with the new counselor in these areas that has served to address several outstanding issues for the municipality.
In connection with Culture, the collaboration of the Autonomous Community was again requested to give content to the Wine Museum, once the museographic project already exists.
Likewise, the councilor was informed of the request by the City Council of Jumilla of 1.5% Cultural to finish restoring the Casa del Rico.
Regarding the Environment, the transfer to the Consortium for Waste Management of the Region of Murcia of the Jumilla Transfer Plant was on the table once the deficiencies have been remedied both by the City Council and by the Community Autonomous.
