The wooden benches of the avenue of Yecla have been renovated by others, who after their passage through the carpentry and painting workshops of the Jumilla Town Hall have been restored.
These are nine banks located from Cruz de Piedra street until the exit of the city, including those of the Soler island.
The deteriorated will follow the same process of restoration and repainting.
"The cost of each of these banks if they had been bought would be more than 300 euros," said the Councilor for Works and Urban Planning, Francisco González.
In this same area are being carried out work of conditioning the median of the Yecla road, which has been installed geotextile mesh on which has been placed gravel with stones of different colors simulating a river that gives continuity to the created with The same system in the first roundabout of entry that was reformed last year.
The objective is to continue with this same conditioning until reaching the next roundabout, which is being cleaned at this time.
With this action is avoided having to perform the costly maintenance that needed until now and, in addition, its image is more appropriate.
