The Department of Culture has organized two days of open doors to the Iberian site of Coimbra of the Wide Ravine, which will take place this Saturday 26 August and next 2 September.
Both visits will coincide with different works of the excavation campaign being carried out in the area, which began on Monday and will continue until Sunday, September 3.
The visit will therefore be an opportunity to see the archaeologists and students in full task with the appropriate explanations and answers of the directors of the same: the municipal archaeologist, Emiliano Hernández Carrión, the professor of the University of Murcia, José Miguel García Cano and the doctor in Archeology, Francisco Ramos Martínez.
In order to participate in the journeys you have to bring your own vehicle, and it is planned to leave at 9.30 am on both days from the parking of the Market Supply.
The visit will begin at 10:00 am and will last approximately two hours.
For more information you can go to the archeology section of the Museum Jerónimo Molina or call the phone 968757379.
