The Councilor of Celebrations, Pilar Martinez, presented this morning at the City Hall of Jumilla the poster of the Fair and Festivals of Jumilla, which are held from 11 to 20 August.
In the press conference were present the president of the Brotherhood of the Virgin of the Assumption, Juana Maria Tomás, the president of the Federation of Peñas of the Harvest Festival, Francisco Javier Vázquez, the president of the Association of Moors and Cristianos Don Pedro I, Claudio Gil, and a representative of the organizing committee of the National Folklore Festival, José Javier Soriano.
The poster was designed by the company Pictocactus.
As main image appears a couple face to face with Paseo Poeta Lorenzo Guardiola in the background and the Castle of Jumilla as predominant element.
They also appear represented each of the groups that organize, next to the City council, the Fair and Celebrations.
The background is bluish green, with fireworks.
Pilar Martínez has defined it as "a modern and simple poster, where the color refers to the night, which is the moment protagonist of the days of Fair in Jumilla."
General program of events
Likewise, there has been the general program of events where the Harvest Festival, Moors and Christians, National Festival of Folklore and religious events in honor of the Patron of Jumilla, as well as activities of other groups that intervene as the Peña Caballista Romeros Of the Christ, bands of music of the municipality, that in addition to participating in parades and cavalcades organize the Juvenil Festival, or the Association of Artisans of Jumilla, that also realizes its traditional market of fair.
In the last pages appear the sports activities, very present as always during the holidays.

The performance of Diana Navarro, to be held on Tuesday 15 August (23.30 hours) at the IES Arzobispo Lozano will cost 15 euros in advance sale and 18 euros at the box office.
The Los Morancos show will be held at IES Arzobispo Lozano on Wednesday, August 16 (23.00 hours) with tickets at 20 and 25, depending on the location.
The II Festival Jumilla Sound, which is organized between Youth and the DOP Wines of Jumilla on Thursday, August 17 (23.30 hours) at the IES Arzobispo Lozano has a single price of tickets of 5 euros.
It will feature the performance of Varry Brava, Siloé, Elephants and Laramie.
The Pop Stars show, scheduled for Friday night 18 (23.30 hours) at the IES Infanta Elena with the presence of DJs Brian Cross, Nano, Abel The Kid and Javi Reina and a price of 10 euros in advance sale and 12 Euros at the box office.
