The Jumilla City Council has authorized the opening of the retail trade in Jumilla on Monday, August 14, local holiday, permitting it for Wednesday, December 6, a holiday authorized to open the retail trade in the Region of Murcia, declaring it unauthorized in the term Municipality of Jumilla.

The request was made by the Association of Supermarkets of the Region of Murcia (ASUMUR) in which it states that this year on Monday 14 August is a local holiday and together with Sunday 13 and Tuesday 15, national holiday, three Consecutive days in which the retail trade, which does not enjoy freedom of schedules should remain closed.

Also, that same Monday, August 14 will be held the weekly market, which is usually held on Tuesdays.
