Last Sunday, the city of Jumilla recovered the celebration of its triathlon that celebrated its 25th edition with the victories of Antonio Luis Alcaraz, Bitec Tri Impulso, and Maria López de Haro, CT Águilas Primaflor.
The test, included in the regional circuit, returned to the calendar of the Federation of Triathlon of the Region of Murcia after not disputed last year, and did it with almost 200 triathletes of all categories, since also played the day of minors .
A total of 88 triathletes took to the queen, with sprint distance, that hosted the indoor heated swimming pool of Jumilla in two batches, to avoid agglomerations in the swimming sector.
Antonio Luis Alcaraz (57:22) took the first place overall, beating Arturo Lucas (57:42) and Bart Jaeken (57:51) with authority, separated by just five seconds after sustaining a hard fight for the second Put in the final meters.
In the female category, the win was for María López de Haro (1:08:01).
Behind her came teammate Herminia Abellán (1:09:22) and Fatima Isabel Sánchez (1:12:09) who completed the podium.
The modality of minors left Jesús Montoya, infantile, like winner of the test, followed by Carlos Fernandez who led the cadet classification.
Isabel Navarro was the fastest in the test.
