The Governing Board held this morning has agreed to hire the company Urbansport Equipamientos SL for the execution of the pavement repair works of the Pavilion of the San Francisco College.
Once exhausted the deadlines of requirements to the construction company is the City council of Jumilla that takes charge of subsidiary form of the works necessary to be able to reopen it to the public.
The pavement has long been generalized air pockets due to poor placement and adhesion of the PVC sheet, which made its use dangerous, so that the installation was closed.
The works will cost 49,284.51 euros and will be carried out in two phases.
In a first one the PVC sheets will be disassembled and the concrete zone will be regularized.
It will then be left to dry for about two months to replace the sheet.
Councilor for Education, Salvi Pérez, said: "If all deadlines are met and no problems appear, the San Francisco Pavilion will be able to be used again from October."
