The roads of La Raja, La Zarza, Yecla-Gamellón and sections two and three of the runway of Colonization will be conditioned through the Rural Development Program of the Ministry of Agriculture, as approved in the second call of the same.
In the first call went ahead the arrangement of a first section of the track of Colonization, which means that it can be repaired in full.
Previously, the City Council of Jumilla had already planned the settlement of a section of the road to La Raja before its alarming deterioration, so that now can also be completed this way completing regional aid.
Works on the first section of the Colonization track are scheduled to begin shortly, while those of the four roads approved in this second call will be carried out between the end of this year and the beginning of the next, once the relevant procedures .
The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, has highlighted "the good work done by the Department of Agriculture and the updating of the road catalog, essential to be able to take part in the call."
Councilor for Agriculture, Juan Gil, has expressed his satisfaction "as the needs of farmers and neighbors in the area will be covered."
41 municipalities have been presented to this call with a total of 149 roads.
Of these, only 75 points have been exceeded, a total of 64 roads of 33 municipalities.
It involves about 190 kilometers of roads, with a budget of approximately 5.5 million euros.
Jumilla along with Cartagena has achieved the top four roads in this call, so the investment will be close to half a million euros and a total of 29 kilometers of roads.
