The works of accessibility are already in progress in the Garden of Gloria Fuertes that will make it an area without architectural barriers.
Accesses are being adapted to the same as the interior.
Likewise, children's games adapted for children with reduced mobility will be placed.
The barriers generated by the lampposts that were placed on the perimeter sidewalk will be eliminated, moving the luminaires to the dates of the opposite sidewalks, in three of the streets, and in the lot, of the rest .
The works will cost 13,727.21 euros and are being carried out by the company Vifraju SL.
They are scheduled to be completed by the beginning of August.
This is one of the actions being carried out by the City of Jumilla that responds to a proposal approved in the process of Participatory Budgets held last year.
The investment planned this year in accessibility is 85,000 euros for the elimination of architectural barriers in streets and public buildings (third phase), adapted children's games, accessibility of the Plaza de Gloria Fuertes, adaptation of public toilets and implementation of the Cranes that will make accessible the Indoor Pool and the median pool of the Swimming Pools of the Sports Center La Hoya.
