The Department of Commerce held a meeting with local merchants last night to learn their concerns and analyze the lines of action for this year and the next.
The main agreement that came out of it was the commitment of all to have a more direct and periodic contact to analyze the different measures of action.
One of the issues raised by the merchants was the intention to create an association of Jumillano retail trade, which from the Department was seen with interest.
As indicated by the councilman of the area, Juan Gil, "the meeting was quite productive and was welcomed with a lot of interest by all the merchants who attended the same, who pledged to encourage more participation in the following to be convened" .
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, June 28, in order to carry out more concrete proposals and agree on a schedule of actions and training for the coming months.
"The goal is that traders and City Council work hand in hand," said the mayor of Commerce.
