The City Council of Jumilla, through its mayor, Juana Guardiola, has signed the agreement for the granting of the subsidy scheduled nominally in the Municipal Budgets 2017 with the Association for the Protection and Defense of Animals and Plants 4 Patas Jumilla, which has been Represented by its president, Irene Santos Morales, in the presence, in addition, of the councilor of the Municipal Hostel, Pilar Martínez.
The association will receive the amount of 38,000 euros with which the City of Jumilla collaborates with the activities that the association develops in the protection and defense of abandoned and lost animals.
The Association for the Protection and Defense of Animals and Plants 4 Patas Jumilla will be responsible, under this agreement, for opening, closing, access control and maintenance of the Municipal Shelter, as well as cleaning, maintenance, food and health care of animals.
Likewise, they will carry out campaigns of awareness, processing of the adoptions and attention to the public.
The amount allocated in the agreement is 3,000 euros higher than last year.
