The councilman of Youth, Juan Manuel Garcia, presented yesterday the summer activities programmed by his council.
These are two sports, an excursion and a beach weekend.
On Sunday, July 23 will be held a descent of the River Segura, between Cieza and Abarán which includes snack and refreshment.
The departure will be at 9.15 am and the return will be at 2.30 pm.
For August 6 is a day of canoeing and kayaking to be held in Mazarrón with departure at 9.00 and return in the afternoon.
In both activities the minimum age is 8 years and it is essential to know how to swim.
On July 30th there will be an excursion to the island of Tabarca, departing at 8 am and returning at 8 pm.
This year will also offer a beach weekend, specifically in Cabo de Gata between 25, 26 and 27 August.
Accommodation for two nights will be in San Jose.
Departure is scheduled for Friday at 8 am and return on Sunday at 8 pm.
The four activities carry the bus subsidized by the Department of Youth with a maximum of 55 participants.
The departure and return will be in all cases in the Indoor Pool.
The children must be accompanied by an adult. The preferential ages of the participants are between 14 and 35 years, although if there are spare seats will not be closed to the rest of the ages.
