The second edition of the Night of Museums held last Saturday surpassed the figures of what until now had been its only precedent, last year.
The different activities programmed in collaboration with several groups had an attendance of about 800 people, while the visits in the day of open doors were of 315 people in the section of Ethnography of the Museum Jerónimo Molina and of 380 in the section of Archeology.
The predominant sources were Jumilla, from different points in the Region of Murcia and the province of Alicante
The Councilor for Culture, Pilar Martínez, has expressed her satisfaction, as "we have exceeded with respect to last year, both in the number of visitors and in the spectators in the activities. Good number of participants ".
The mayor concluded that "the expectations have been met, which were to improve what was achieved last year, so we will continue to strengthen this activity".
