The new public lighting of the Sports Center of La Hoya is already working, so there is already lighting in the common and traffic areas such as streets, corridors and access to different tracks and football fields.
Until now this installation did not count on public lighting, so it was very difficult to use it at night, since the lighting of sports courts should be kept on to serve as lighting for users.
40 new LED luminaires have been installed, which will achieve significant economic savings in electricity supply, as well as 7 new power lines and a control panel.
The work has been carried out by Maisi SL and has had a cost of 47,177 euros.
The work joins the rest that the City of Jumilla is carrying out at the Municipal Sports Center La Hoya.
For months, all the illumination of the Antonio Ibáñez artificial turf football field was renewed with the placement of 24 new bulbs distributed in the four existing turrets.
In addition, the seats in the football pitch of natural grass were repainted and renewed, in which different repairs were also made in the dressing rooms and in the benches.
The cost of all these improvements has been around 80,000 euros, which have been assumed by the City of Jumilla, except for 4,616.37 euros that came through the General Directorate of Sports.
