The Department of Equality has given in recent weeks a workshop called 'Dismantling the normal', aimed at children who are being supported by the Collective Studies Training and Social Intervention (CEFIS).
This association helps young people to comply with the non-custodial measures imposed by the Juvenile Court of Murcia and province, with the primary objective of connecting minors in their charge with the standardized social resources and networks of their environments .
The workshop was held at the association's headquarters in Jumilla and has dealt with equality between men and women, as well as prevention of toxic relationships.
The intervention was developed with 10 young people (8 girls and 2 boys) between the ages of 15 and 18 years.
It has been done in a very dynamic and participatory way, where children have critically opined on issues such as inequality between men and women, culture and learning inequalities and relationships in general.
