The Regional Development Association of the Northeast Region will move its headquarters to Jumilla, as approved yesterday at the extraordinary assembly held in Fortuna and chaired by the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola.
The offices, which are currently in Yecla, will be located on Doctor Fleming Street, in front of Correos.
Likewise, it was agreed to join the association of the Regulatory Board of the DOP Queso de Murcia and Queso de Murcia al Vino.
In addition, the current status of the Participative Local Development Strategy (EDPL) 2014-2020 was reported, from which the draft basis for the call for aid is being prepared.
Further sectoral meetings will be held with the municipalities to continue preparing the projects contemplated in the strategy to be carried out by the association itself.
On Tuesday 16 will be held on Tourism and Thursday 18th on Equality.
The budget for the strategy will be 4,000,000 euros, of which 63% will come from ERDF Funds and the rest of the Autonomous Community.
