The Municipal Indoor Swimming Pool will host this Saturday the sixth and last day of the Regional Swimming League for the categories benjamin and prebenjamín.
The event was presented this morning at a press conference by the Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel Garcia, the President of the Swimming Federation of the Region of Murcia, Ricardo Martinez, and the president of the Jumilla Swimming Club, Juan Francisco Crespo.
The day will start at 10 am and will have morning and afternoon sessions (5 pm) with participants in all modalities and styles.
In the last meeting of the league, the final classification will be in play, and the trophies will be presented at the end of the season gala celebrated by the Federation.
On the local side, will be counted on the participation of two Jumillano swimmers, components of the club.
This is Justo Marín Tomás, who will participate in the 100 meters styles and Luis Tomás García, who will compete in the 200 meters styles and in the 1,500 freestyle.
For the celebration of this competition have had to carry out works of adaptation of the trampolines in the Municipal Indoor Swimming Pool.
This installation will also host the final of the Autonomous Waterpolo Cup on 27 May, an event that will be presented shortly.
Juan Manuel Garcia has highlighted "the continuous support of the Department of Sports of Jumilla to water sports," while Ricardo Martinez thanked "the effort made by the City Council so that these competitions can be held in Jumilla."
For his part, Juan Francisco Crespo has highlighted "the work done for the approval of the pool for this competition," as well as the participation of two swimmers Jumilla in the test.
"It's worth seeing the level that kids give so small in different styles, so I recommend that people come and enjoy the test," he said.
