The Councilor for Public Health, Lucía Jiménez, and Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel García, presented this morning the second edition of Health Week, which will be held from 24 to 30 April with different activities.
Several talks and workshops will be held.
On Tuesday 25 at 17:30 at the Center for Equality, the physiotherapist, Maria Ferraje, will talk about pelvic floor and menopause.
That same day, at 19.30 hours in the Roque Baños Center, the main role will be for nutrition and cardiology in sport, in this case by Altiplano Salud.
One of the most outstanding workshops is scheduled for Friday 28 at 18.00 in the Plaza de la Alcoholera de Menor.
The masterchef contestant, Mireia Ruiz, will offer children from 6 to 11 years old 'Cooking healthy smiles'.
On Wednesday there will be chess and coaching workshops at 17.00 and 20.30 in the Plaza de la Alcoholera de Menor and Roque Baños Center respectively.
From Wednesday to Friday in the morning (from 9.15 hours) there will be open doors in the Carlos García Municipal Pavilion with a ballet fitness run by Vicente Ochoa (Wednesday) and gymnastics for all ages.
The Health Week will culminate on Sunday at the Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola with different exhibitions, among which highlights the masterclass of zumba by Jordi Giralde, as well as a fair with almost twenty stands related to the matter and activities in the Pool Heated
Also, throughout the week several establishments related to health will have different offers and promotions.
There will also be programs in Radio Jumilla on eye protection (Monday 24, 10.00) and 'Jumillan @ s gluten free' (Thursday 10.00).
Also, every Tuesday of the month there will be the possibility of donating blood or marrow at the Health Center from 5 to 9 pm.
