The City Council of Jumilla is carried out the necessary procedures so that the street cut in Plaza del Rollo can be reopened to the traffic as soon as possible because of the landslides that occurred in a private building on 13 March.
It has been notified to the property of the building the obligation to carry out different works indicated by the municipal technical architect so that this reopening is done in safe conditions.
To do this, all the facade cladding must be inspected and any loose or deteriorated areas must be removed, as well as repair of the tile that has been detached.
Likewise, the gutter should be cleaned and repaired and a protective canopy with a visor fitted over the entire length of the facade.
The execution budget is 5,641.15 euros.
After 10 days have elapsed since the notification, if these works are not carried out, proceedings for breach of the execution order are initiated and there are 15 days for allegations and 20 days for public information in the BORM.
The councilman of Works and Urban Planning, Francisco González, has met with the neighbors of the area to inform them of the process that is being carried out to solve the matter.
"We would like the procedures to be faster, but administrative times are the ones that set standards and must be met," he said.
