There have been placed 40 lanterns of type led of 20W in the street towards the Source of the Jar and of 26W in the zone of the highway until the access to the convent.
They have also renovated the heads of street lamps, pipes, cables, grounding and the control panel.
The previous lighting was obsolete, to the point that made it unworkable until its repair.
These were 100W high-pressure sodium vapor fixtures on top of roofs and on a wall arm in the convent and in the houses and the cables were completely destroyed, without proper protection and without grounding.
The installed capacity has now been 1KW and the cost of the work has been 50,859.87 euros.

Energy saving
This new lighting will lead to an energy saving compared to the previous ones of between 60 and 70%, will allow an accurate measurement of the consumption, a greater optimization of the maintenance and the reduction of emission of greenhouse gases, as well as a greater security.
This work is part of the investment close to half a million euros in improving public lighting that the City is doing in different parts of the city.
The renovation of the luminaires on part of Goya Street, as well as the streets and accesses of the La Hoya Sports Center, to date, are close to completion.
Already finished the avenues of Liberty, Murcia, Yecla and Ronda Poniente.
