The City Council of Jumilla, in collaboration with Waste Management, Cranes and Containers, Aguas de Jumilla and the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment, has organized two days of reforestation with schools in the municipality.
They will be held on 30 and 31 March from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. with the participation of 5th grade students and 350 pines (pinus halepensis) are planned to be planted.
On the 30th, reforestation will take place in the hamlet of La Estacada with the participation of the schools Carmen Conde, Prince Felipe, Santa Ana and Nuestra Señora de la Asunción.
The 31st will be held on the hillside of the Castle by the schools Mariano Suarez, Miguel Hernandez, San Francisco and Cruz de Piedra.
The activity will include awareness talks about responsible water consumption and the importance of recycling, which will be taught by Aguas de Jumilla and Waste Management, Cranes and Containers.
There will also be breakfast for all participating students.
