The City Council of Jumilla, through its mayor, Juana Guardiola, has asked the Minister of Health, Encarnación Guillén, that one of the 10 pharmacy offices that is scheduled to open in the Region of Murcia is the 4th District of Jumilla, which by population ratio would correspond.

This new request is motivated by the motion approved a few days ago in the Regional Assembly, presented by the PSOE and supported by all groups, for Health to convene the competition for the award of pharmacy offices.

Since 2010 have been presented to the Autonomous Community by the City of Jumilla, various initiatives to this end.

Juana Guardiola said that: "This pharmacy, besides corresponding to population ratio, would cover an area of ​​Jumilla away from other pharmacies and an aging population, something that makes it necessary to have this essential service to the citizenship of the As close as possible ".
