The strong winds that suffered the municipal term of Jumilla during the last Sunday have left different material damages in the zone.
In the roundabout popularly known as the Salicornio, located on the Camino de los Franceses, the monument collapsed due to the release of a cable that stabilizes it.
Fire Station staff ensured the structure to avoid being spent in its entirety.
The rains also caused the fall of two trees, one of them on the road of Santa Ana on a fence of enclosure of a plot, while in the hamlet of La Estacada, a dry trunk was dumped on La Vía street. In the hamlet Fuente del Pino a pole that holds a street lamp was cut into its base and fell, without causing other damages.
Likewise, some cascades detached from facades, tiles, a fence of work, some vertical signal and several television antennas fell, although in no case caused personal damages.
In some moments of the morning the rages reached to exceed the 90 km / h, activating the Territorial Plan of Civil Protection by adverse meteorological orange phenomenon.
