Through this agreement, the City Council is committed to launch concrete awareness campaigns to promote women entrepreneurship initiatives in the municipality, provide facilities for the development of planned activities, establish support measures for women to establish businesses In Jumilla and collaborate with OMEP in the promotion of business associationism among women entrepreneurs.
On the other hand, OMEP will encourage the development of business motivation workshops to inform and advise women entrepreneurs who opt for self-employment as a way of insertion in the labor market, as well as the implementation of basic business training workshops for the Start-up of a company and participation in round tables and other activities developed by the municipality that contribute to the empowerment of self-employment of women.
During last year, the OMEP launched in Jumilla the training project 'Connected 2.16' with the aim of encouraging the entrepreneurship of unemployed young people under 35 years.
The improvement of entrepreneurial skills and the management of the personal brand through social networks like Linkedin centered the rest of the workshops.
