The City of Jumilla continues with the improvements in the Municipal Sports Center La Hoya.
Recently all the lighting of the artificial grass field of Antonio Ibáñez was renewed with the placement of 24 new foci distributed in the four existing turrets.
In addition, last week repaired the benches of the soccer field of natural grass, which is also running the repainting and renovation of the seats of the stand.
Soon, the works of the new public lighting in the common areas and of transit like streets, corridors and accesses to the different tracks and soccer fields will begin.
At present, this installation does not have public lighting, which makes it very difficult to use it at night, since the lighting of the sports courts must be kept lit to serve as an illumination for users.
New led luminaires will be placed, which will achieve a significant economic saving in the electricity supply, as well as new electrical lines and control panel.
The cost of all these improvements exceeds 80,000 euros, which will be assumed by the City of Jumilla, except for 4,616.37 euros that arrive through the General Directorate of Sports.
Likewise, it is expected that in the coming days will be awarded the works of the new Olympic glass of the Summer Pools of the Sports Center, which will involve a total renovation of this facility with an investment that will exceed 400,000 euros.
