The Regulatory Council of the Wines of Jumilla Denomination of Origin delivered yesterday to the City Council of Jumilla a picture of Pedro Cano commemorating the 50th anniversary of its foundation.
The president of this organization, Pedro Lencina, handed over to the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the work in an event held in the plenary hall.
A commemorative bottle was also presented to each member of the municipal corporation, which is being carried out in all the municipalities that make up the DOP Vinos de Jumilla.
At the same ceremony, a check of 4,800 euros was also given to Caritas Jumilla as a donation of the wineries attached to the DOP Vinos de Jumilla to finance social projects.
Present were Irene Crespo, as representative of Cáritas Jumilla and Ana Sánchez, deputy director of Caritas Murcia.
