The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Services, Works and Urbanism, Francisco González, presented this morning the new urban furniture that is being placed in different areas of Jumilla and its districts and has had a cost of 45,212 Euros.
These are 50 colored benches, 15 chairs and 66 litter bins that will be installed in most cases in the main avenues of the city.
Banks that retire will try to repair and recycle.
Fifteen ashtrays have been purchased with foot for the doors of the municipal buildings and 5 children's bins that will be placed in the squares of King Don Pedro, San Antón, San Juan and CAI El Arsenal.
Likewise, 16 biosaludables games have been acquired that are destined to the districts, eight of them are of double bicycle and another eight of wheel of shoulder.
Another five, two shoulder wheels and three double bicycles will be placed in different gardens and in the Municipal Velodrome, where in addition will be installed an adapted swing of the nest type.
In the Manuel Azaña Garden you can already enjoy a game complex grasshopper, a mixed double swing and a rabbit dock.
The mayor said that "currently the furniture of Jumilla is scarce and the one that was in a sorry state of conservation, so our goal is to improve it as much as possible."
Juana Guardiola has also requested respect from the citizens towards this furniture, "since it is a money we all pay".
