The 4 Patas Jumilla Association has organized the V Week for the Rights of the Animals, which will be held from December 4 to 9, and during which different activities will be carried out with the aim of raising awareness about respect for animals and also raising funds For the protector.
The first of these activities will be the V Canicross Popular "Run with your dog" on Sunday, December 4, for which the three categories of last year are maintained: children (one kilometer), amateur (three kilometers) and sports , 5 kilometers).
Likewise, this year the circuits will again pass through the avenues to the Avenida de la Libertad and the Municipal Sports Center.
The registration has a price of five euros, in advance, and six euros the same day of the competition.
The same day there will be a solidarity market with handicrafts, clothes, accessories, books, and so on.
The schedule of this event is as follows: at 10 o'clock, collection of bibs;
At 10:30 am, departure from the sports circuit;
At 11.30, departure from the children's circuit;
At 12, departure from the amateur circuit;
And at 12.45, awards ceremony for the winners, although all participants will receive a gift.
Registrations for canicross can be found at the florist Diseloconrosas, in the Emotion photo studio, Mascots Veterinary Clinic and Urban Veterinary Clinic.
On the other hand, on Monday, December 5, from 9.30 am in the Market of Abastos, several volunteers of the protector will be in an information stand where they will share information about it, while raising funds by selling tenths, Calendars, and so on.
On Friday the 9th will be held in the restaurant Loreto, from 21.00 hours, the Veggie Party, a vegetarian dinner with the performance of a singer-songwriter, and in which there will also be sweepstakes, photocall and a solidarity auction.
The entrance has a price of 20 euros, and can be purchased in the restaurant itself.
The V Week for the Rights of the Animals will be completed with talks in different schools and institutes of the locality, as they point out from the protector, "young people are one of the most important engines in moving society and try to improve the world".
From the association they have encouraged all Jumillanos and visitors to participate in the different activities programmed by the animalistic collective.
