The president of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, met today at the Palacio de San Esteban with the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and with the president of the Central Board of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods of Easter Jumilla, Fulgencio García, who They transferred the details of the XXX National Encounter of Holy Brotherhoods to be held in Jumilla on September 21 to 24, 2017.

This meeting is of great interest to Jumilla for the promotion that will be for the municipality in particular and for the Holy Week of the Region in general, as it will meet, according to the estimates of the mayor, about 500 representatives of brotherhoods All Spain

The program of events will include several presentations on cofradías and brotherhoods, round tables on the conservation of the patrimony of the cofradías and the Patronage Law, as well as tourist visits, several exhibitions and a general procession with the participation of about 24 steps of Week Santa

This will be the second National Meeting organized by the municipality, which in 1999 hosted the XII edition of it.
