The Council of Social Policy of the City of Jumilla will carry out during the months of November and December the workshop 'Building health', within the Municipal Plan for the Prevention of Drug Addiction.
The objective is to offer the educational community a prevention strategy appropriate to the Spanish reality, not only of drug use in the early stages of adolescence, but also of antisocial behavior.
It is addressed to all students of the 2nd ESO of the municipality and the basic vocational training.
It is going to impart in 15 classrooms, intervening with 250 students approximately in the schools CCE Cruz de Piedra, Center Concertado Santa Ana, IES Arzobispo Lozano and IES Infanta Elena.
It began on November 2 and will continue until December 14.
It is developed in a total of three sessions per class of one hour of each of them.
In the first one will work the social skills, in the second the active listening and it will end with the assertiveness and empathy.
The company that manages this workshop is Jumiformación, following the indications and advice of the municipal coordinator of the plan.
