Volunteer Councillor and NGOs, Lucia Jimenez, along with the president of the Association More Active, Teresa Ruiz, and technical and psychologist of it, Eugenia Piñero, presented this morning the Bank of Time Project.
Jumilla City Council provides 6,000 euros, coming to this association after a cooperation agreement and as nominative grant provided for in the Budget 2016.
Lucia Jimenez stressed that the start of this project is good news for Jumilla, as it will improve relations between citizens and sharing experiences.
"This is a transversal and intergenerational initiative, an opportunity for participation by all."
Teresa Ruiz expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of the project, recalling the history of the association president in its five years of existencia.Por hand, Eugenio Piñero, explained the operation of a Time Bank, through which people give of their time to perform any kind of activity that serves to someone else.
After their favor that will have time to benefit from other activities to organize others and that may be of interest.
The work of the association will be the organization and coordination of these activities.
"Wanted you have, something that is almost lost in this society that is so fast and is almost devoid of ties networks of mutual learning, support and fun," he noted.
Participation is free and will be the association that supply the material.
