The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed the operation 'PESTO' research aimed at eradicating the cultivation and sale of marijuana in the town of Jumilla that has led to the arrest of two persons as alleged perpetrators of crimes culture , processing and drug trafficking.
The operation culminated in the dismantling of three buildings designed, respectively, to the cultivation, drying and distribution of marijuana to consumers in the area, which have been seized 40 kilos of cannabis sativa, many useful intended for cultivation, dosage and sale, as well as a simulated firearm revolver type.
As part of the services established to pursue drug trafficking, specialized civil guards in prevention of public safety began the operation to detect a certain increase in drug use, especially among the youth group of the municipality of Jumilla.
The first phase of the research focused on locating the house where supposedly was cultivating cannabis sativa in sufficient quantities to supply a large group of consumers.
The investigations carried out led to the Civil Guard to a building located in the urban center of the population, suspected of harboring the necessary devices to hide an 'indoor' growing plants.
After obtaining the necessary evidence and authorized a warrant of entry and search was begun the first phase of the operation, consisting locate and seize the largest number of illicitly cultivated plants.
The registration of housing resulted in the seizure of large quantity of cannabis sativa plants, which were found inside two closets enabled sophisticated autonomous electrical systems, ventilation and temperature control.
They also underwent fertilizers, seeds and annotations to facilitate the tasks of fertilizer and irrigation control and even start dates of crops.
Simultaneously, the Civil Guard patrolled enclave located in a rural area of ​​Jumilla where supposedly manipulated plants in the drying phases and dosage.
The investigations carried out were made known to the judicial authority, in a second phase of the operation, authorized the registration of the shed, where a considerable amount of marijuana was found in buds ready.
Research has continued to locate a point of sale and consumption of drugs, located in a building of the municipality and near which were reported up to eight young people for possession of narcotics.
In this third phase of the operation, and authorized by the competent court, the Civil Guard has dismantled a housing for the sale and consumption of drugs, known in the argot as 'joint', which have been seized about 300 doses marijuana, as well as a simulated weapon revolver.
The result of research has identified and arrest two Spanish people, 37 to 42 years, residents of Archena and Jumilla as alleged perpetrators of cultivation, processing and trafficking of drugs.
The development of the three phases of the operation 'PESTO' has enabled the Civil Guard eradicate all facets that criminal detainees now held in the town of Jumilla for marijuana trafficking.
