The Governing Council has authorized the recruitment by open procedure, the proposed technology and renewable energy station for the irrigation of the irrigation community Miraflores, in Jumilla improvements.
The budget is 2,094,506 euros, distributed in 2016 and 2017 annuities.
This project is funded by 63 percent EAFRD funds, 11.1 percent by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment and 25.9 percent by the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment.
The project includes the installation of a photovoltaic solar plant for renewable supply to existing irrigation network energy.
The aim is to obtain an energy efficiency that allows the community of irrigators lower energy costs without the overall performance of the current installation is reduced.
Also, a floating outlet in the reservoir of Santa Ana, and filled automatic control and protection elements necessary for the reservoirs of Salinas, Escarabajal and Fuente del Pino will be installed.
It is also planned placement of flowmeters in the reservoirs of Santa Ana and Fuente del Pino, and junctions in the reservoirs of the Molar and Source Salinas, to allow direct irrigation from the industrial water treatment, as well as the construction of a coffer general connection pipes.
The specification states that the execution time of the work is four months.
