Jumilla will add Saturday to the live broadcast of Giuseppe Verdi's opera "Otello," which will be performed at the Teatro Real in Madrid.
It can continue for free from 20.00 hours through a screen that will be installed in the Plaza de Arriba.
It is expected that also retransmit from landmarks such as Granada, Seville, Murcia and Valladolid, and from important cultural institutions throughout Spain.
This is a proposal to approach opera to all citizens, that drives the program of activities of the bicentennial of the Royal Theater and the street leading to this theatrical genre, in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.
"It's one more way to bring culture to every corner of the city of Jumilla and at the same time collaborating with the Royal Theatre, which celebrates its second anniversary," he said the Councillor for Culture, Pilar Martinez.
