This morning has been presented in the course Jumilla 'Open Government and transformation of information systems management to transparency', organized by the International University of the Sea in cooperation with the City of Jumilla.
In the press conference they have involved the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the Councillor for Culture, Pilar Martinez, the Vice Chancellor of Education and Innovation at the University of Murcia, Pedro Miralles and course director, José Luis González.
The course will be held at the Roque Baños on 22 and 23 September and Cultural Center is still open enrollment period, which can be made effective in www.um.es/unimar.
You can have recognition of credits if the student so requests.
The first local mayor has expressed his satisfaction with "the recovery in Jumilla of the courses organized by the University of Murcia through the Universidad del Mar after several years without taking out".
He also praised the course theme, "by now it has, at a time when the administration we're adapting, each with the resources we have, to open and transparent government. In fact, in Jumilla we pioneered participatory budgeting and in 2008 ".
The first of the scheduled papers will be headed by Juan Medina Cobo, a pioneer in the world of transparency in municipalities, First Deputy alcal of and Councillor for Open Government Plan tion Urban Development and Sustainability, Economic Development and Employment of the City of Quart de Poblet.
Then intervene Juan Carlos García Gómez, journalist and tech ni cal University Information Service of the University of Murcia.
In the afternoon, there will be lectures by Thomas Saorín Pérez, documentarian of the Office of Transparency and Citizen Participation Public Administration of the Region of Murcia, as well as Francisco Jiménez Asensio, president of the Citizen Observatory Municipal Alcan tarilla.
By Friday, it is expected the presence of Julián Valero Torrijos, Department of Administrative Law at the University of Murcia.
And Antonio Galindo Galindo, head of the Unit of Computer ayunta ment of Lorca.
Headquarters Permanent extension
The Vice Chancellor of Education and Innovation at the University of Murcia, Pedro Miralles and the Mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, have referred also to the intention by both parties to create a permanent extension of the University of Murcia in Jumilla.
Would mean for the township the organization throughout the year of activities of educational nature, promotion of culture and art, such as contests, exhibitions of informative or artistic and cultural events such as conferences, related to the interests of congress municipality.
