The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and Councilman Services, Francisco González, presented this morning the new waste collection truck that will begin to be used from Thursday 1 September.
The new vehicle was purchased through centralized procurement system and has had a cost of 126,000 euros.
In the near future, they will join the fleet another truck greater tonnage and capacity, as well as a wash-containers truck.
"By this we once again express our commitment to public service management waste collection. A renewal of the fleet joins the new collection system through approximately 400 new containers and the new award of the collection also involving selective renewal of such containers and allowing continue to shape this service so hard we had to improve, "stressed Juana Guardiola.
For his part, Francisco González, has indicated that the new truck will replace two old trucks "that no longer have to go through the town, because with this and the two have to come will be enough."
The largest number of existing years now will be exclusively for the refuse collection service carried out in the districts in order to better preserve the new state.
The new truck is automatic gearbox, rear camera features, Compactor last generation and nine cubic meters capacity.
'Jumilla clean ... depends on everyone s' is the slogan with which has been labeled.
