The Municipal Green Unida-Left Group has filed a motion in the City of Jumilla for office CAISS (Center for Assistance and Information of Social Security), located in the Garden of King Don Pedro, be properly maintained to allow continuity of service.
They explain that in the office of Jumilla CAISS employees have been reduced progressively to have only one today.
They believe that the Ministry of Employment and Social Security aims to close the center, dedicating fewer resources to it until his disappearance.
Currently, to have just one person, no one is available to cover replacements for holidays or breaks that correspond to the current worker, so the office is closed during these periods.
From IU-Green indicates that CAISS office has been offering the service for decades, with great professionalism of its workers and performing an essential task.
They add that there is no reason to justify the deterioration of the center, as the place is fully prepared to provide these services and others that fall under the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
Besides being needed, covering the needs of more than 25,000 people throughout the municipality of Jumilla.
They deplore this new situation, which adds to the elimination of teaching positions, reducing courses of training courses FP, the worst care in medical emergencies, the elimination of child line Assumption College, cuts in the Centre Day and many others suffering Jumillano and Jumillano.
In the motion filed, United Left-Greens intends to request the Ministry of Employment and Social Security to maintain and enhance the CAISS of Jumilla.
To do this, they believe that measures must be taken to ensure increased workforce in this office.
They hope that these measures are taken into account to resolve the situation as it currently citizens who come to CAISS to take steps or use their services are not getting the proper attention they deserve, making it impossible for the obvious lack of human resources.
