Mr. Ramón Canovas Calatrava, which is voluntary brother of the Templar Association of Jumilla, has been commissioned by the European Union to rotate visit to the Republic of Guatemala in direct action with American penitentiaries center of the state.
The Templar Association of Jumilla (ATJ), following his instructions, has been empowered with the proper credentials for also acting as Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the ATJ in that country, if possible, establish cultural bridges between the Guatemalan penal institution and the ATJ to and effect of initiating a cultural exchange, especially concerning the Phoenix Project framing Fine Arts, Crafts, and Biodiversity by the Guardian Project Seed, in an exchange of Guatemala, Murcia and Spanish native seeds at risk species that have as protagonists the prison population of both brotherly countries.
Ramón Canovas is one of Spain's most dedicated to the prison world within the Ministry of the Interior Secretariat General of Prisons, having directed several prisons and promoted various projects of prison rehabilitation, and although already enjoying retirement, voluntarily remains active and attentive everything related to the practice, and improving the living conditions of prisoners through cultural re-education.
