The chairman of Transparency in Murcia, Jose Molina Molina, visited yesterday Jumilla to maintain different meetings on participation, good governance and transparency.
After being received early by the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, he gave a lecture to students in first Bachelor of IES Archbishop Lozano, with the presence of the first local mayor and Councilman Alfonso Pulido, head of portal transparency Jumilla City Council.
Then he held three meetings: with the rest of the government team, negotiated with the heads of the Consistory and representatives of political opposition groups.
Molina said the goal is "that transparency is not only the word that has now become fashionable. The institutions must be open and citizens should participate in decision-making, which will result in what is known as a good government or open government. "
For its part, the mayor thanked the Chairman of Transparency accept his invitation to Jumilla and has provided assistance, inter alia, to advise on the elaboration of participatory budgets.
