The Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin Jumilla wines carries the tickets of the National Lottery draw tomorrow, 14 April.
Tenths, which are for sale for days, wear the logo of the Council on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its creation and coinciding date with the development of XXII Quality Contest Jumilla wines, which develops on Thursday and Friday at the Regional Museum of Wine 'arsenal' of Jumilla.
It is recalled that 31 tasters evaluated the nearly 200 samples that 70% of the 43 wineries of the Designation of Origin Jumilla have presented to this issue, establishing the thirty best wines under the categories set out in the rules: white, rosé, reds made or aged or without contact barrels or aged red Monastrell made with or without contact barrels in pre-2013 vintages, red crianza, reserva and gran reserva red wines, sweet and liqueur.
Among the sommeliers, the Master of Wine Robert Geddes hold out for the most demanding wine worldwide for the study and the opinion of the entire certification process industry.
The Quality Contest Jumilla wines has this year with the honorary presidency of His Majesty the King Felipe VI.
