It opened the term to stand as candidate for the election of Elders and Children Vendimiadores 2016. This year from the Federation of Peñas committed to resume this election on two different days loaded with new features.
The first will take place on Saturday April 2, the day a day of coexistence between the jury and the candidates will be held.
It will begin with a traditional lunch at Casa Sebastián Restaurant, where candidates will enjoy a talk about cuisine of Jumilla and the Wine Route Jumilla from the president of it, Sebastian Garcia.
Then Alceño Storage facilities will be visited to get into the winemaking, before moving on to individual interviews to be carried out in the Regulatory Council.
There, the candidates know first hand the operation of the PDO Jumilla, taking advantage celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
On Saturday 9th, at 21.00 Election Act Vendimiadores Senior and Children in the Media Luna Meetings will be held Jumilla.
Tickets can be found at El Pasaje Fashion, opposite the City of Jumilla.
Children Vendimiadores candidates must be aged between 6 and 12 years old and belong to one of the federated clubs.
Older Vendimiadores candidates must be 18 years old on or this year, and also belong to a federated rock.
