They consider it unacceptable that six years later has not completed a full agreement, and in 2009 it was approved with the favorable votes of PSOE and IU and the abstention of the PP a motion on the implementation of the Law of Historical Memory.
They say that the only explanation for all this time have not been made effective agreements is the unwillingness of both popular and socialist.
United Left-Greens calls again, through a motion, the implementation of a series of measures in favor of those who suffered persecution or violence during the Spanish Civil War and dictatorship in Jumilla.
From IU-Greens recall that this law is in force since 2007 and Jumilla has not undertaken any action to normalize the situation.
They note that in our town there are still emblems and Francoist symbols, such as in social housing or in several schools.
To prevent a further breach of the agreement, the United Left-Greens intends to withdraw in the next six months all commemorative symbols of the military uprising, the Spanish Civil War and the repression of the dictatorship.
In its proposal also they indicate that if it was not possible to make any withdrawal, are placed above constitutional symbols and shields, thus ensuring the recognition of the rights of those who suffered the consequences of the Spanish Civil War and the subsequent dictatorship.
Among other agreements include facilitating active mode of research activities, location and identification of missing persons in the municipality and provide documentation to families who may request pensions and benefits, as well as includes the Law of Historical Memory.
They hope that unlike the last socialist stage in the city of Jumilla, and the legislature sterile PP, this time is the end of the text presented by IU-Greens in the said motion achieved.

They end stating that "the exaltation of the Civil War and the Franco dictatorship can not have any space in the locality."
